It's All Grace, Have Some!

It’s All Grace, Have Some!

When something “evil” happens, we cannot accept it and we don’t know that we can’t accept it, and so it goes into the shadow world. Why did my sister die at the zenith of her young life? I don’t know, and the answer is not all in, and I can’t accept it.

Until we understand that grace is behind the tragic, we cannot accept it, even 50 yrs later. In the Matador movie, the hero stopped functioning when his son died. You can’t accept the tragic or the evil, even though you pretend that you do. So if there is something tragic that you don’t like, you can ask “What is this?” . Until you find out, you are stuck and you may have to re-live it a thousand times until you do. Then the anxiety of it is gone. When the meaning of the event changes even to a small degree, some degree of the anxiety is gone, but until the meaning reaches the level of understanding, or grace, it remains to that degree.

Tell me something you can’t accept, that you don’t like, that you resist and reject, something that still brings you pain or discomfort or anxiety, something you feel you should have been able to control or to prevent or to forget. That something is “evil” to you. Until you can see it as a gift of grace, a gift of good, it will remain in your psyche and produce anxiety. Anxiety that it was bad, anxiety that it made you a victim of something you didn’t want, and anxiety that it might occur again.

But the question is “What is this?” and “Why did it happen?” If you want the truth, drop your accusatory mindset, your judgmental reaction, and suspend all of your conclusions. If you judge it, you are stuck. If you suspend it, you are still free. When you know the infinite meaning of it, you are joyous.

I can only give you a general clue to the answer, the rest will be taught to you from within. The broad sweeping answer to the What Question and the Why Question is the Infinite Good. There can be no other answer because only the Infinite Good exists. However, just how it is specifically good for you in your evolution is a mystery and has to be asked by you personally and revealed to you personally. The presenting symptom is anxiety and the meaning is Grace.

Isn’t that marvelous? It’s marvelous because it is true. Truth in a sea of apparent Error. Yes, that is where we live, in a sea of apparent error.

Enlightenment is a lifelong voyage of truth-discovery in a sea of apparent error. Enlightenment is a process of discovery and revelation in which you joyously discover by trial and error that there is nothing but Infinite Good or Grace.

Trial and error can take lifetimes. Anxiety-Enlightenment Therapy is a shortcut with an Owner’s Manual. On Page One it says anxiety is your friend. That will save you a thousand years if you understand it. On Page Two it says that only the Infinite Good exists. That will reverse the effects and suffering of the last 1000 years as well. When you gather up the courage to investigate your entire identity story, you will discover how you have unconsciously created all of your own suffering, and the truth will be revealed to you. That is how discovery and revelation work together, and we call it the therapy of enlightenment.

If something happened that was judged as “bad” or “wrong” by you, you will not be able to accept it. Many things are hung up in that category, eating up our energy, and blocking our flow. We are not able to forgive and forget those events. We block them out and we block out the “disinterested” universe and the “guilty” person along with that blocking out.

Ask yourself if it is true that this “bad” event happened. It never happened. But if you don’t know this, you are stuck in your ignorance. You are stuck in your judgments. You are stuck in your accusations. You just lost your sanity and your freedom. Your reasoning was faulty.

The God of that reasoning is our religion, but that religion is false. There is no such God in reality. There is no such universe in reality. Noting “bad” ever happened except in our story. That is my Good News. That is the only sanity in an insane world.

You like it, but you can’t believe it? You want it, but you are afraid to want it? My discovery is that what you want is true, and what you don’t want is false. Unbelievable! But think about it, would the unlimited god invent a world of good versus evil if he had a choice.? Would you? Oh yes, you would want a world of choice and variety, but it would have to be just a drama, not reality.

Everything in this drama has a hidden purpose, that we discover the truth behind the apparent. We can afford to love it all, the apparently bad and the apparently good, because behind these appearances is the Infinite Good of Reality. Check it out! But don’t settle for appearances. You don’t have to. We have settled for less for lifetimes. Mediocrity has been our middle name. God is your middle name, so stop it! Wake up!

Good and evil, reward and punishment, sowing and reaping, is the name of the game we play on stage, in the drama. Even the god on stage plays by the same rules of karma. Off-stage there is nothing but Grace. Grace includes and transcends all rules. Rules are for safety. There is no danger in Grace. In Grace there are no victims and villains. The truth is just like you wanted it, but you didn’t know it. God is Grace, and all the rest is anxiety and teaching.

There is only grace and anxiety, and anxiety is the sometimes painful teaching to prepare us for receiving the grace. Karma (the law of sowing and reaping) is the teacher showing us what we believe, what we ask for and do not ask for. Karma is the teaching method, and as long as you hold other people to it, you will be held to it. You want “what goes around comes around” to be true for others but not for yourself. Whatever their reason was, was an excuse. Whatever your reason was, held water. This is ego reasoning.

What then is Grace? Grace is what we want and can’t even imagine to be true. Grace is Truth, the truth so huge we cannot even imagine it much less believe it. Grace is the seemingly impossible coming true. If this offends you, its just your ego that is offended.
