Meditate So you Don’t have to Medicate!
We medicate because we feel like victims. Meditation reveals (1) that you are one with it all, and (2) that the victim belief in separation is so anxiety-producing that you will either meditate or medicate. Which will you choose? Medication will keep you bound to the merry-go-round of the villain-victim-rescue wheel. Meditation will free you from any such delusions and illusions.
Medication keeps you on Level one; meditation releases you so that you can rise to Level Two. Medication dulls your awareness that you are not alone, that you are not deprived and that you are not stuck. Medication is designed to dull your anxiety-recognition and reinforces the belief that anxiety is a problem. When you meditate you come face to face with your anxiety directly, and you realize it is just a veil over consciousness. You face your own programming directly without the screen of daily dramas designed to mislead you into thinking that you are seeing reality. When you close your eyes, you see your drama directly, you see that it is a product of your own mind. You relax. How can you be a victim of mere thoughts!
