Every father of a boy should buy and read this book with his son...and more importantly, do this stuff!

You can buy this book for less than $20 by a British father, who says: we've become aware that the whole "health and safety" overprotective culture isn't doing our sons any favors. Boys need to learn about risk.

They need to fall off things occasionally, or--and this is the important bit--they'll take worse risks on their own. If we do away with challenging playgrounds and cancel school trips for fear of being sued, we don't end up with safer boys--we end up with them walking on train tracks. In the long run, it's not safe at all to keep our boys in the house with a Playstation. It's not good for their health or their safety.

You only have to push a boy on a swing to see how much enjoys the thrill of danger. It's hard-wired. Remove any opportunity to test his courage and they'll find ways to test themselves that will be seriously dangerous for everyone around them. I think of it like playing the lottery--someone has to say "Look, you won't win--and your children won't be hurt. Relax. It won't be you."

I think that's the core of the book's success. It isn't just a collection of things to do. The heroic stories alone are something we haven't had for too long. It isn't about climbing Everest, but it is an attitude, a philosophy for fathers and sons. Our institutions are too wrapped up in terror over being sued--so we have to do things with them ourselves. This book isn't a bad place to start.

We are acting out our search for the divine father, divine mother and divine child archetypal awareness. No one can accept the dysfunctional imagery derived from parents, Hollywood and from our own contemporary Level One sensory input. The union of the trinity must somehow become real to us in our everyday experience. If he or she does not have a compatible and active mother-father archetypal imagery, the child cannot be born or live. Rather he will seek to rectify his dysfunctional imagination in thousands of anxiety-medicating ways. He will act out in ways that are symbolic of his own need to be re-born and live a second real life freely and spontaneously rather than fearfully and guiltily. .

If we are male, we assume the powerful phallic power of the father. If we are female, we assume the receptive transformative power of the womblike nurturing mother. Since we are both left-brained and right-brained, we have both archetypes alive within us. However, the overlays of our memories and societal imagery of Level One clouds over these God-given DNA archetypes.

What are our God-Given DNA Archetypes?

The mother, father and child archetypes are built into our genes. The union of these three basic archetypes is the Christ Archetype (which Jung called the Self). The Christ Archetype is the fundamental pattern of every human psyche. The Christ Archetype is written in our genes, into our DNA. The Christ or Self Archetype is inerasable, indelible, cannot be deleted, cannot be lost or stolen. The Christ Archetype is the pattern of the new man, the Universal Human, which we are all about to evolve and mutate into. If we don’t know the Christ within, we don’t know ourself.

The Christ Archetype is both personal and cosmic or universal. The personal Cosmic Christ archetype is the psychic component, the DNA Component, the pattern in us. Peter called this the hidden man of the heart. The Cosmic Christ incarnates in millions of different personal ways in individuals and groups. Krishna, Buddha and Jesus were incarnations of the Cosmic Christ Archetype. So was Lucifer, but he got it wrong, just as most of us pervert the pattern.

You aren’t sure if you got it wrong? Anxiety will tell you. Insofar as your personal incarnational behavior conflicts with your DNA Cosmic Christ archetype, you will be anxious and you will be symptomatic. Isn’t it good news to know when you are fooling yourself?

You can fool yourself some of the time, and you can fool others most of the time, but you can’t fool anxiety any of the time

What are the qualities of the Cosmic Christ archetype? Study the lives of the incarnated Christ archetypes and you will discover those qualities. Look at any person you admire most and you will find a Cosmic Christ quality there. It is our privilege to discover what these qualities are and to incarnate them.

If you admire science, is God not a scientist? If you admire love, is God not the Beloved? If you admire power, is God not omnipotent? If you admire creativity, is God not the creator? If you admire intelligence, is God not omniscient? If you admire freedom, does not Truth set us free? If you admire immortality, was not Jesus resurrected? If you admire peace, wasn’t Gandhi a man of peace? If you admire genius, wasn’t Einstein a man after God’s own thoughts? If you admire art, wasn’t Blake a visionary? If you admire music, wasn’t Beethoven listening to the cosmic sound-waves?

Each person’s mission in life is to incarnate or embody some quality of the Christ Archetype and to recognize and honor the other qualities of the universal pattern in our teammates.

Just as sunlight can be broken down through a prism into the rainbow, so the Christ Archetype has thousands of shades. Enjoy the process of finding a Christ quality in each person you meet, however hidden it may be. Whoever you meet is the Christ standing before you, awaiting recognition. Whoever you meet is an anxious lover just as you are.

Our task is to remember. What we want is to re-live this ancient memory. The Christ comes to revive that memory of the Divine Father and the Divine Mother. The Father is the Spirit, the Mother is creation. The father is above and within, the mother is below and without. Awareness of the universe and its source, then, allows the divine child to be born. Jesus united with the Father and the mother universe was birth-giving to his miraculous power. The Universe is our mother. It is what we call Matter. Matter is spirit in form. Every created thing is your life-giving mother. Mother Earth is a symbol of the divine mother.

In terms of a dream sequence, we must first dream of eating good food, a symbol of the Divine Mother presence. Secondly, we must dream of receiving a gift of plenty of money, the Divine Father presence. Third, we must dream of new clothing, which is symbolic of the birth of the Divine Child.

Power has been given to us, through the coming of the Holy Spirit. Love has been given to us through the mercy and forgiveness of the Father. Clothing has been given to us through our putting on the robe and new being of the Cosmic Christ.

People spend their whole lives trying to get enough food, money and clothing outwardly. Trying to get enough approval (mother) and support (father) to be free to live on Level Two.

The mother is form, the father is the energy within the form. You are never without either form or energy. The child is awareness. The mother is the universe, the father is the power source that runs the universe. The mother is seen (visible) , the father is not seen (invisible). The child is both seen and not seen. The child is the awareness of what the form and the energy mean.

If the child does not see the infinite goodness of the mother universe and its father energy, he does feel safe to be born, create, have adventures, cooperate, live freely and lovingly. Rather he will feel anxious, unnatural, out of sync, victimized, competitive, jealous and angry. He will feel out of touch with self, with the universe, with nature, with God, and especially with people. He will feel alone and isolated, victimized and stuck. He will feel that the whole world is conditional. He wants the unconditional but he cannot believe it exists.

He wants the awareness that there is a greater unconditional oneness than he currently understands. The Father/Mother/ Child unity does exist and that is what everyone wants to experience. This union exists on Level Two in actuality and on Level One symbolically.

People are literally starving for this knowledge, killing for this knowledge, barely surviving due to this lack of knowledge. Anxiety is directly due to the lack of this knowledge.

• What is the main cause of death? Illusion.
• What is the main cause of unhappiness and suffering? Illusion.
• What is the main cause of war? Illusion.
• What is the main cause of divorce? Illusion.
• What is the main cause of crime? Illusion.
• What is the main cause of illness? Illusion.
• What is the main cause of depression and suicide? Illusion
• What is the main cause of anxiety. worry, and fear? Illusion.


Our entire identity problem arises due to our attachment to Level One illusions and that is why our immune system and symptoms are subject to dysfunction.

World hunger, illiteracy, and addiction all arise from the single cause of illusion. All human suffering arises from the single illusion that we don’t have what we want.

The illusion that we are separate from God, from the universe, from each other, from nature and from abundance is the direct cause of suffering. It is astounding to even theorize that all human suffering arises from one common unsuspected source: illusion.

What is the illusion that produces all of these symptoms? The illusion is that we are separated from God, from the Infinite Good, from all that we want.

This sense of separation, deprivation and victimization is a natural consequence of Level One perception.

Someone said to me: God doesn’t give us more than we can handle! I said “You mean that God doesn’t give us more bad than we can handle. What about more good?”

Of all the probable causes of suffering, illusion is the worst and the best. The worst because it is hardest to see, and the best because it is the simplest to remedy.

The Good News is that all we have to do is wake up and see reality. The Bad News is that we are blind, deaf and dumb and don’t know it.


Why are We Angry?

The key question for the men of this world is why are we angry. The reply might be why shouldn’t we be angry! The problem is that only the first question will lead to the answer. This journey from the question to the answer, however, must pass through the anxiety barrier, similar to the gravity barrier astronauts must pass through to get to outer space. If we do not confront our anxiety barrier, we will not understand the source of our anger; rather we will spend our days justifying this anger and blaming various people and circumstances for it. All of the anger and violence that we see in the world is due to the unwillingness of the male to face the meaning of his anxiety barrier and to go through it, for only there will he find sufficient reason to give up the anger.

In brief, anger arises from frustrated desire. Anger arises from the belief that someone is depriving me of my good. Anger arises from the intention to make someone feel guilty for depriving me of my good. Anger arises from the illusion, the delusion, the false belief that I am not one with God , the Infinite Good. Anger arises from the lack of control that I feel when my wants are not met as I expect.

The Secret is that you can have whatever you consistently want for the good of all.

Anger would be justified if….

I were not a god
I were not infinitely blessed
I did not have awareness
If I were my ego
If I was or could be a victim
If I was truly ignorant of truth
If happiness was not my nature
If I were not free to choose
If anyone could hurt me
If I did not have unlimited resources, imagination and creativity
I could wake up from this nightmare right now
If God was not my banker and business partner
If the Divine Mother was not with me
If I was not being fed, supported, and guided every moment

But since none of life’s fearful illusions are true, there is no justification for any anger whatsoever and the so-called causes of violence and war have no basis in reality.

The illusions in which we are trapped on Level One are sufficient to explain the belief that we are angry victims. Only by going through the anxiety barrier of our illusions will we come to know that all things are possible, and that we have been confused and deceived. The chief illusion that keeps us locked into anger and violence is that we are not one with the Infinite Good. The five senses tell us that there is no such thing as the Infinite Good. When we deeply understand that love is the only way through the anxiety barrier to real peace, then shall war end.

So what is this anxiety barrier that keeps us locked into our suffering and anger so that we don’t claim our rightful place in the universe as co-creators with God? What is this anxiety barrier that keeps us attached to the belief that we have very limited choices, and that we are divided and victimized. This barrier acts like a veil over our eyes, keeping us in confusion and darkness. Even though the Buddha mind of clarity and the Christ mind of love have been given to us, we continue to be stuck in ignorance. The good news is that you are not separate, not deprived and not stuck. The awareness of God is our food and medicine.

The Purpose of War is Over

This Secret Knowledge is what we have been looking for in the wrong places for generations. The lack of this Secret Knowledge has kept us in wars, poverty, jealousy, self-pity, and depression.

How do you access this Secret Knowledge? Through anxiety-recognition. Face your fears! They are nothing but illusions! They hide your godhood! They hide the godhood of all of your associates!

There is no more basis for war. It was all an illusory solution to a problem that didn’t exist. Our sons and fathers died for illusory reasons, just as we have lived for such. Freedom is already ours. Their sacrifice seemed necessary and is appreciated, but let’s not justify our errors any further. Peace is closer than breathing. If we have to be warriors, let us be Peace Warriors.

No one has lived or died without reason, purpose and meaning. That reason, that purpose, and that meaning, however, still stands before us. It is not lost. Nothing has been lost.

All will be realized. We are the generation to realize the purpose of all generations! You want the sacrifice of the warriors of all 15,000 of our past wars to be meaningful? It is meaningful and we will all see why in this generation!

Have we lived and died for no reason? Absolutely not. We may have stumbled along, made colossal errors, committed violent acts, and even served time in prison, but nothing is lost. God is not mocked. all will be saved. Prisons doors will be opened, graves will yield up their dead, hell will come to an end. Poverty and starvation will end. All wrongs will be righted. Our grand and glorious purpose has no limitations. We have yet to see the glory of our God.

All that is asked is that we open our eyes and ears. Look and listen! The message will be clear. It will not be missed by anyone. It is not too late. This is the time of our realization. We have all gathered here at this propitious time for a glorious purpose…for the giant step of all mankind, for a liftoff into Universal Humanity, a new species, promised to us from the beginning. A New Jerusalem! The Tree of Life! The Second Coming of the Cosmic Christ! Not the 2008 elections, which would be just more of the same.

If this isn’t a stretch of our imagination, what is?

Of all the pessimists, I am the worst. Of all the optimists, I am the most extreme. Now be honest, isn’t this vision what you want?

Hellfire and brimstone havcn’t worked because they aren’t true, any more than war is true. The fear of death and punishment is not enough to change us. Violence has not worked. War has not worked. Fear has not worked. Only love and wisdom work. God is love and wisdom. We don’t have 1000 more lifetimes to learn the truth of this. The time is now. I do not permit one more pessimistic thought to dwell in my mind. I do not see another victim in my world. If Good is Infinite, how can I justify one more pessimistic thought?

The Gaia Project: 2012

Mr. Yang of Korea has written The Gaia Project: 2012 to aid us in preparing for the Great Change of 2012. Those who are ready for this inevitable fifth-dimensional graduation from earth will make the transition more easily than those who are still highly attached to the materialistic worldview. In his discussion of the Gaia Project, he brings some great insights into the purpose of earth in the galaxy as a school for learning about our spiritual nature.

But time is up and we are going to graduate, ready or not, in the near future. A crash course is now in order. We will be going through many catastrophes, social chaos, natural disasters, and upheavals, all for the highest purposes imaginable. We will soon be departing from Mother Earth in spaceships for various stars, dependent upon our achieved level of enlightenment.

We will be separating from thousands of years of reincarnating here. Reincarnation is now over. These changes cannot b stopped, changed or postponed, There will be no safe place on planet earth by which we can escape these changes. We are all going to be united with our Origin, our spiritual source. We will have new bodies geared to much higher frequencies. We will be involved in many cooperative world-building ventures.

Meditate or Medicate!

Meditate So you Don’t have to Medicate!

We medicate because we feel like victims. Meditation reveals (1) that you are one with it all, and (2) that the victim belief in separation is so anxiety-producing that you will either meditate or medicate. Which will you choose? Medication will keep you bound to the merry-go-round of the villain-victim-rescue wheel. Meditation will free you from any such delusions and illusions.

Medication keeps you on Level one; meditation releases you so that you can rise to Level Two. Medication dulls your awareness that you are not alone, that you are not deprived and that you are not stuck. Medication is designed to dull your anxiety-recognition and reinforces the belief that anxiety is a problem. When you meditate you come face to face with your anxiety directly, and you realize it is just a veil over consciousness. You face your own programming directly without the screen of daily dramas designed to mislead you into thinking that you are seeing reality. When you close your eyes, you see your drama directly, you see that it is a product of your own mind. You relax. How can you be a victim of mere thoughts!

Who is the Christ?

In the East if someone says “God and I are one” , people respond “Good, its about time you finally realized that”. But in the West, we are shocked and clamor for the idiot to be put to death.

The story of Jesus and his mystery teaching about our divine identity and unity was complicated by the messianic expectation. For centuries people had looked for a world savior, for a messiah, for one who would end suppression and slavery. In the 6th century BC, many illumined ones had appeared: Zoroaster, Buddha, Mahavira. Lao Tsu, Confucius and Pythagoras.

By the first century, both Jews and Gentiles, including Virgil, were predicting the emergence of a world savior. Jesus struggled with this concept in his desert temptations, and emerged victorious after 40 days of sensory deprivation, when he said “Get thee behind me, Satan, my kingdom if not of this world!”

His kingdom would be the knowing that God dwells within each person. Other voices had joined him, as when Socrates came to fulfill the philosophical school of the Sophists and instead destroyed it with dialectical inquiry. Nietzsche came to fulfill a certain strain of classicism and reconstructed it beyond all recognition. Marx came to extend Hegel and instead turned him upside down. Jesus, the rabbi, came to fulfill the law and the prophets and proceeded to cause a schism that the world may never hear the end of.

Jesus taught that the indwelling God - as God-Son, Son of Man, Christ or Logos-- is the unique expression within us of the universal parent-being. Christos, or the anointed one, is the one who realizes who he or she really is. Like the Buddha, the Christ is the awakened one. Jesus concern with the indwelling of God is especially made clear in John and in the Gospel of Thomas where he said “ There is a light within a man of light and it lights the whole world. If he does not shine, he is in darkness. If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.” The genius of every child must be brought forth. Children do not blossom not because of misbehavior but because they are not allowed to become who and what they are. Jesus goes on to say that he found people to be asleep and drunk. “I found them all drunk; I found none of them thirsty. They came empty and blind into this world, and would leave the same. But for the moment they are drunk. Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will realize you are sons of the living father. Until then, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty.”

Our Inexhaustible Desire for More

We have an inexhaustible desire for more. We are greedy. We are self-centered. But that is only because we believe in a deficient universe, a withholding God, and a victim ego. Your desires for more, your greediness, and your self-centeredness are merely symbols of your unawareness of your infinity, your fullness, your wholeness, your oneness with all. If we were conscious, all sorrow, poverty, greed, hostility, war and anxiety would disappear immediately.

Use each frustrating anxious moment to awaken! That is what they are for! We are asleep, we are nightmaring, we are unconscious! Is it too much to be aware of reality? We are not aware of reality. We are only aware of our ego story projected out upon the world. What you see out there is what you believe inside! To change the world, change your thinking about the world. To change yourself, change your thinking about yourself. To find God, change your thinking about God. You will not find the universe, yourself, your other, or God without changing your mind to the Infinite Good awareness.

The whole story of our birth unfolded, like a speeded-up film of the growth of a plant from bulb to bloom. I witnessed the life of our planet, from the quantum instant of its conception to the quantum instant of our collective awakening, of our birth as one body.

I felt myself tumbling through an evolutionary spiral. Each great quantum transformation was a turn on the spiral -- a radical leap to a new order of being. "I," the macrocosmic, universal I, the "I" that is "we," the "I" in each of us that was, is, and ever will be, experienced the whole story of creation as our story.

I felt the spiral unfold: the creation of the universe, the formation of the Earth, the appearance of single-celled life, of animal life, and of human life. Then we began to approach our own turn on the spiral. I saw the early religions in India, Egypt, Greece, Israel -- from Buddha to Christ -- as harbingers of the next stage of evolution. They demonstrated to us that we are higher beings, founders of the future. I saw the emergence of science as the great tool for understanding how nature works, so that we can evolve consciously with her. I saw democracy as the great liberator of human potential. I saw the explosion of the atomic bomb as the beginning of our collective labor pains. It was the signal that the Cosmic Child, humanity, could either kill itself by remaining in self-centered consciousness in the womb of Earth, or instead emancipate itself for universal consciousness and action.

The next turn on the spiral began, revealing the "synergy" of which Bucky Fuller wrote. The separate parts of humanity and Earth are coming together to form a whole that is greater than and unpredictable from the sum of its parts. Synergy feels like love, loving one another as ourselves. We are, in fact, one body! Our capacities as a whole are infinitely greater than when we are separate tribes and nations. Once our consciousness shifts from feeling separated to knowing that we are all members of one body, our vast technological genius begins to serve the growth of ourselves as one planet. And that consciousness shift can happen in the twinkling of an eye! In fact it is now happening in millions of us throughout the world.

Once our consciousness shifts collectively, of course we can restore the Earth. We can feed all people. We can control population growth. We can shift our military from "weaponry to livingry," as Bucky said. We can emancipate unique potential. We can! We can! We have the capacities to do it already, we just don't know that we can. The Cosmic Child can live. Our birth is natural. Yet we must know that we are being born, not dying, else we will not fully activate our new capacities before it is too late.

I saw the rockets as nature's seed pods of Earth-life bursting into the universe. I saw our mass media -- our planetary nervous system -- link up and report our growth, awakening all of humankind's members to their parts in the process of growth.

I realized that in the very same decade when we were learning to preserve our Earth and limit growth here, we were also stepping off the planet to begin the establishment of new worlds in space. At the same time we were also beginning to learn the language of DNA, the genetic code that designs bodies for this Earth.

We are becoming universal humans! We will have to change our bodies to live beyond this Earth for which they were designed. Naturally! New bodies will be essential in a radically new environment. Nature always creates new bodies for new consciousness, in order to transcend new frontiers: the fish, the bird, the hominids, Homo sapiens . . . and next, Homo universalis. We, too, shall evolve new bodies for new worlds, only this time it will be through conscious rather than unconscious evolution.

Astronautics, genetics, cybernetics, and nanotechnology (the ability to construct at the atomic level) are natural capacities of a universal species that is moving from its terrestrial to its universal phase. Furthermore, those powers are far too great to be contained by a biosphere, or in self-centered consciousness. They are meant for cosmic consciousness and universal action. For us to stay in this stage would be like a baby trying to remain in the birth canal. It would kill us all.

"Oh, my God!" I thought. This whole process is really the birth of a universal species. It is not a metaphor, it is an actuality. What we call "evolution" is actually an organic process that creates beings capable of evolving consciously. We are becoming conscious evolutionaries!

I saw humanity, at the next turn of the spiral, gaining the powers of co-evolution and co-creation, just as all our religions told us we would. ("Co-creation" means conscious co-operation with the process, direction, and purpose of evolution -- the implicate order of the cosmos: God.)

I saw, perhaps most fundamentally of all, that the vast effort of humanity to "be fruitful and multiply" would have to be curtailed in our generation. One more doubling of the world population will destroy our life support system. Our Mother will not support us if we continue to grow in numbers! We must stop. Where is this powerful prime energy to go? In a flash I saw it!

The energy of procreation is to be emancipated for co-creation, for chosen work, for vocation. The sexual drive to reproduce the species is now being transformed into the suprasexual drive to evolve the species. We desire to join, not only our genes but our genius, to evolve ourselves and our world. Sexuality and suprasexuality are about to merge in one great orgasmic effort to evolve!

What had happened in my own life, the search for meaningful work, was a natural extension of sexual energy. Imagine when the whole world turns on to its creative drive!

The so-called "population crisis" is a crisis of our planetary birth. The limits to growth on Earth shift us from procreation to co-creation. Creativity will be emancipated en masse. The passionate love of chosen work which Maslow discovered in all self-actualizing people is the next stage of sexuality. That's why it's going to happen! And we are going to love it as much as we love sex!

All of these thoughts flashed through my mind in a single gestalt, an integration of everything I knew. It was a kinesthetic experience of a natural set of events that is happening right now.

Then the technicolor movie stopped. It had lasted a few minutes at most. I stood alone upon the hill. Tears of joy were frozen upon my face, my heart was bursting with joy. Ask and it shall be given. Knock and doors will open. There was no outward sign of what had happened. Yet I knew it was real. It's happening now. I had seen with universal eyes. I ran home, the cold air searing my lungs and my face, to tell my children and my husband that I had to "go forth and tell the story of our birth."

I too am Awakening

I am the model for the new human. I was conceived consciously. I was born conscious. I was aware that I was a Son of God from childhood. I practiced conscious love. I chose consciously to be crucified. I consciously chose to materialize a new body more receptive to my intentions. You will do the same in the fullness of time, which is now. I resurrected and changed my body consciously and so will you. I ascended consciously and so will you. I now exist in total Christ-consciousness, which is a frequency band of awareness open to all who image themselves as me, whatever name they use.

Buddha means awakened one. Buddha was not born awake, but he achieved it. Jesus was born awake. He stabilized and matured that awareness for all of us for all time. You and I would never know who we are were it not for such models as Buddha and Jesus. Jesus is the champion of consciousness, because he was Christed. He is what I am. He is what I am becoming. He is what I will be. I too am Christed. I am not fully aware of it yet, but that is my potential and my purpose.

We all have infinite potential. Discovering that potential is our purpose. Awakening from our programming is our task. Anxiety signals that we are not yet awake, that we do not yet see reality, that we are not yet conscious, that we are still seeing our programming, our conditioning, our trance state, our ego belief system. When we become conscious, we shall know that all is one, that our essence is eternal and unlimited. We shall be living on Level Two and grateful for everything on Level One. WE shall, as Katie says, love what is.

This week we invite you to choose people to consciously "appreciate" in a way you don't normally do. Consider doing this to people you know you don't normally appreciate (friends, family members, your boss, a "cranky" co-worker). Find a time and way to appreciate them so they know you are serious and sincere. Pull this person aside and tell them in specific ways how much they mean to you, how much they inspire you, how much you care for them, how much you love them. For those people that it might be challenging to come up with reason you appreciate them... are usually the people who need it the most. Stretch yourself and find a way to make it work. It's an amazing experience.

We live in a world that is under-appreciated. I believe most people are starving for words of support, love and appreciation that they don't normally get. You will see some amazing responses when you perform this act, some might surprise you and touch you at a level you never thought possible. I can guarantee that it will touch the person you are giving it to. Make a commitment to do this for a certain number of people over the next week. It only takes a couple minutes. Login to you account and record this commitment and then consciously follow through with it. Let's see next week how many lives we touch!

First the bees, then us? Lots of sites are reporting that bees are disappearing, something like 40-60% in the US, with similar numbers in Europe. Many reports include a supposed quote from Albert Einstein - "If the bees disappear, man would have only four years of life left."

The problem could be due to bees not liking mobile phones interfering with their navigational abilities...

This is of interest to 2012 folk, because if all the bees disappeared in late 2008, that would match Einstein's prophecy with that of the ancient Mayans!
