The Christ Man
On Level Two you are the Christ Man. On Level One matter appears to be separate from mind. We speak of mind over matter. Mind and matter are both energy. Thought is energy in motion. Matter and energy are one in the Christ Man Level of our being. Matter and energy are different aspects of consciousness.
Christ consciousness is our true nature. Level One is Earth Man. Level Two is Christ Man. You appear to be merely Earth Man. But if you were Earth Man in reality, you would not be anxious. But since you are Christ Man in reality, and appear to be only Earth Man, you are anxious. The discrepancy between ego and Self is the discrepancy between Earth Man and Christ Man. Due to that difference, we are anxious. Nothing works on the Earth Man level for a reason. Everything that happens on Earth Man Level has one anxiety-driven purpose, to boost us to Level Two. Limited Earth Man can never be satisfied.
Every crisis, every pain, every disappointment, every apparent loss or failure—all point to one thing: spiritual amnesia. You are the Christ in beggar’s clothes. You are bliss in agony’s clothes. You are a Prince in a victim’s clothes. No wonder we are so angry! No wonder we are so grumpy! No wonder we complain! No wonder we blame and criticize! No wonder we lie and deceive! No wonder we have violence and wars!
Jesus came to bring us one message: that we are the Christ just like he is. Christhood is our potential. Any less brings disaster and dissatisfaction. If you are anxious, you are not being yourself. If you are anxious, you are not Christ-realized. If you are anxious, you are short-changing yourself. Christhood is potentiality.
Hidden in every acorn is an infinity of oak trees. You can count the number of seeds in a single apple, but not the number of apples in a single seed. In Christhood awaits our selfhood. The cosmic man is hidden in you. The hidden man of the heart, says Peter. I am in you and you are in me, Jesus said. You are a great mystery.
Level Two is hidden to Earth Man’s eyes. Earth Man only sees with his five senses. His spiritual eyes have not yet opened. He does not see the world God made. He only sees what the eyes of the media have told him. Our only purpose here is to wake up to our Christhood, to our Level Two. If you can get through the Matrix, the dis-illusioning story, you are home free. Whatever anxiety and suffering it takes, is worth it. Anxiety is your ticket through Go.
The next time you are frustrated, worried or bored, practice anxiety-awareness. Anxiety-awareness is awesome. It requires no action, no fixing. Just be aware that you are anxious. Ask what your anxiety is about. Then listen.
Anxiety is not about the outside world at all. Anxiety is about your hidden potential, your Christhood. Anxiety is telling you that you have no limits. Anxiety is telling you the truth about your abundance. Anxiety is telling you that God is here now. Anxiety is telling you that not one single thing in the universe is denied you. Anxiety is saying that Paradise is Here Now.
Anxiety is a wake-up call about the Secret of Life. You have the keys to the Kingdom. Anxiety is telling you that you do have eyes to see and ears to hear. You can think the thoughts of God. Just wake up from this nightmare of limitation, isolation, and separation. There is no limit. There is no separation. There is no isolation. There is no stuckness. Just rise to Level Two. Rise to your Christhood, whatever you call it. Call it Level Two, call it Higher Self, call it Budda, call it Spirit, call it the Mystery. It is nameless. The purpose of suffering is simply to awaken you to your non-suffering potential.
