You are Unconditional

The Search for the Unconditional

There are two levels of consciousness: the conditional and the unconditional. We all want to experience the unconditional, but we feel stuck in the conditional. And so we experience anxiety and blame it on something or someone.

When you become aware of the unconditional, you are not going to lose anything or be hurt. Therefore you need no defenses or rescue schemes. In the limited world of the ego mentality, you are going to lose and be hurt. Self-defense won’t protect you, nor will self-rescue free you.

If the universe is yours, how can you lose anything? If the universe is infinitely good, how can it hurt you? If evil does not exist, why would you need self-defense or self-rescue? If the universe seems limited and deficient, you will always be guarded lest you lose. If the universe seems dangerous or indifferent, you will always feel subject to hurt. So who decides which universe is true?

The five senses only tell you of the limited life and the conditional universe. The limited life is no more than the belief in what the five senses tell you.

Scientists tell us that the universe is expanding at the speed of light in all directions. In other words, the nature of the universe is more and greater. Not one of us is less than that. We have the capability to expand infinitely also. More and greater is our nature. But if we perceive ourselves to be stuck in a “less” universe, we become anxious. And we do not understand what that anxiety is telling us.

What is anxiety telling us? That we are infinite beings in an infinite universe, telling ourselves a constant story of limitation, danger and deprivation. You will never be satisfied with less. More is your nature. More love, more peace, more freedom, more choices, more creativity, more resources, more power, more belonging, more truth.

We are infinity in motion. There is no one or nothing that can limit us except our story. If we perceive limitation, we will blame. Blame only re-enforces the prison walls in which we dwell. Blame is self-protection, not self-discovery. The only “cure” for blame is Self-awareness. Self-awareness means awareness of the Infinite Good. There is no lack, no evil, no danger, no limitation, nothing to fear. It’s all made up. It’s all Good News. There is only Good News and our ego belief system.

The Secret is that we are searching for the Unconditional 24/7, that our conditional mind is telling us that it does not exist, and that is why we are anxious. Every symptom that we have is a sign of anxiety. Anxiety means that we are attached to a false story about the universe as conditional. Isn’t that marvelous!

Then where is this unconditionality? What if its right here now? If it is, why don’t we know it? We have never been here now. We live in a story about the past and the future, where God is not. The Infinite Good is here now and we are not here now. We don’t have to change the world. God made it Very Good. We just have to wake up, and that is our life’s purpose.

We are not yet spiritually aware. We are only materially, socially and psychologically seeing. This seeing delivers to us a very small universe, an incorrect I, and a judgmental God. We think we know. That is our trap. We don’t know. What we know and what we see is our trap, our prison, the cause of our inevitable anxiety, and all of its futile defense and rescue schemes. All of our symptoms (unhappiness, conflict, depression, illness, and warfare) arise from this very limited and error-filled seeing. We do not know the truth and we are not yet free. None of us.

But we are on the path, and we are here to remind each other of who we are, and of the magnificent truth hidden from us. So, every critical thought we have ever had about anyone was absolutely wrong. All that we have seen is a projection of what we dislike about ourselves.

Do the work. Let us question every stressful, limiting thought we have today. None of them are true.
